Shopee's hyper-growing business scale has transformed most "innocent" problems into huge technical challenges, and there is no better place to experience it first-hand if you love technologies as much as they do.Job Description: - IT infrastructure (data centre, server, network and etc) capacity planning and delivering, resource efficiency management Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, setup, management and drill - IT infrastructure planning for major marketing events (e.g. 11.11 sales), including coordinating stress tests throughout the entire system - Design, improve and execute change processes related to IT infrastructure and technical platform (e.g. database version upgrade), coordinating with various stakeholders such as business operation, product management, application system developers and etc - Manage software development projects that deliver technical components (e.g. specialized cache system), covering the entire life cycle for these components from requirement gathering to deployment - Other tasks related to IT infrastructure and technical platform Requirements: - A good degree in IT, engineering or other related fields from a reputable university - Minimum 2 years of working experience, past experience as software engineer/system engineer is an advantage - 5-7 years’ relevant working experience, able to deliver the project on your own with minimum guidance and existing team leading experience is desirable for Team Lead role - Strong in written and verbal communication, to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization - Self-motivated, with a passion for information technology |
